Spur Gears

Pressure Angle (20standard).

Helical Gears

  Teeth inclined at a helix angle (15 -30); smoother meshing, lower noise, and higher load-carrying capacity than spur gears. Applications: Automotive transmissions, industrial motors, pumps,and precision machinery.Key specs: Helix Angle (=10 -45), Face Width (10-150 mm), PitchDiameter (20 - 500 mm).

Bevel Gears

  Conical shape with teeth on the cone surface; designed for intersecting shafts (typically 90).Subtypes: Straight Bevel Gears (low-speed, 1ight load) and Spiral Bevel Gears (high-speed, heavyload, low noise).Applications: Differential systems, aerospace components, and machine tool spindles

Worm Gears

  Consist of a worm (screw-l ike dr iver) and worm wheel (gear follower); enable high reduction
ratios(10:1 to 100:1) and self-locking capability.Applications: Elevators, conveyors, packaging machinery, and steering systems.Key specs: Lead Angle (入=3 -15), Number of Starts (1 -4), Module (1 -16 mm).

Planetary Gears

  Compact design with a central sun gear, planet gears, and ring gear; high torque density and multiplespeed ratios.Applications: Electric vehicle dr ivetrains, robotics, wind turbines, and precision gearboxes.

Herr ingbone Gears

  Double-helical teeth (oppos ite hel ix angles) el iminate axial thrust; ideal for heavy-duty, high-speed  applications. Applications: Marine propulsion systems, steel mi lIs, and large industrial gearboxes.

Gear Manufactur ing Materials


We select mater ials based on load, speed,temperature, and corrosion resistance requirements:

   Alloy Steel:20CrMnTi, 40CrNiMoA (carburized/quenched for high hardness, HRC 58 -62;excellentwear resistance for heavy loads). Carbon Steel: 45# (normalized/tempered formedium loads; cost-effective for general applications).Stainless Steel: 304, 316 (corrosion-resistant; suitable for food processing, mar ine, and chemical equipment). Cast Iron:HT250, QT500 (good damp ing properties; used in low-speed, Iight-load gearboxes). Non-MetaIlic Materials: Nylon, POM (low noise, self-lubricating; ideal for precision instrumentsand Iight-duty machinery).


Precision Manufactur ing Processes Our gear production integrates advanced technology and strict quality control:


Blank Preparation: Forging, casting, or bar stock cutting (ensures
material uniformity and structural integrity).

Gear Cutting:

    Hobbing (high efficiency for spur/helical gears; tolerance grade IT6-IT8).
Shaping (suitable for internal gears, splines, and small-batchproduction).
Grinding (precision finishing for highspeed gears; surface roughness Ra  0.8 um, tolerance grade IT4 - IT5).
Lapping (super-finishing for ultrarprecision gears; reduces noise and improves wear life).

Heat Treatment:

 Carbur izing, quenching, temper ing, or nitriding(enhances hardness, toughness, and fatigue resistance).

Finishing:

Deburr ing, shot peening, and surface coating (anti-corrosion treatments:zinc plating, black oxide, or chrome plating).

Quality Control & Standards

Dimensional Inspection:

    Coordinate Measuring   Machine (CMM), Gear Measuring Center (GMC) for pitch diameter, tooth thickness, and runout.

Hardness Testing:

   Rockwell/Brinell testers (ensures heat treatment consistency).

Performance Testing:

    Torque load testing, noise vibration analysis (NVA), and fatigue life testing.

Compliance:

    IS0 9001:2015, AGMA2000-H96, DIN 3960/3961 standards.
